THE CITY OF THORNE BAY IS OFFERING ANOTHER ROUND OF
RESIDENTIAL RELIEF FUNDING FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY COVID-19 PANDEMIC
The City of Thorne Bay Household Economic Relief Assistance Grant is designed to provide CARES Act funds for utility, food or fuel assistance to households located within the City of Thorne Bay that have suffered an economic hardship as a result of the COVID-19 public health emergency. An ‘economic hardship’ means, as a result of the COVID-19 public health emergency, personal or household disposable income has decreased and/or normal personal or household expenses have increased, such that it has been impossible or difficult to make ends meet and/or any money reserves of the applicant have been and/or are being significantly expended.
The amount of the relief funding available for each household will be determined based on the total number of applicants submitted for this round.
Applications must be submitted by Wednesday, December 15, 2021 by 4pm AST. Only complete applications will be considered and there are no exceptions for late applications. Only one application per household.
