The City of Thorne Bay is providing another round of relief funding from the State of Alaska CARES program to help mitigate the effects of COVID-19. Each household that applied for, and received, the Residential Relief fund in December 2020, will automatically be eligible and will receive this round of relief funding without any additional paperwork.
Those who did NOT receive the relief funding in December will have until close of business (4:00 pm) March 3rd to submit their applications to City Hall.
Funding will be provided in the form of a gift certificate to “The Port” in Thorne Bay for the purpose of assisting residents with fuel costs. NO TOBACCO products will be allowed.
Applications must be submitted by Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021 by 4pm. Only complete applications will be considered and there are no exceptions for late applications. Only one application per household. If you were eligible and received the Residential Relief Fund in December 2020 please DO NOT APPLY A SECOND TIME. Submitting a second application will cause delays and render your application ineligible for the current round of Residential Relief Funding.
