RFP-BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION

PROJECT SUMMARY:
The City of Thorne Bay, located on the east side of Prince of Wales Island,
approximately 42 air miles from Ketchikan, is requesting proposal for the
construction of a tributary fish passage gravel and culvert bridge on North Road as
engineered by the Southeast Alaska Watershed Coalition in February 2015.
Engineered plans attached and identified as Exhibit A.

The road right-of-way throughout the subdivision is platted, is located in the “South
Thorne Bay Subdivision”, is 60 feet wide (30 feet on either side of centerline) and is
bordered the entire length by surveyed private property. The North Road Bridge
project begins in the area of Block 2, Lot 9 as indicated in the engineering plans.

SUBMITTING PROPOSAL:

The City will accept proposals for this project until 4:00 p.m., Wednesday June
30th, 2021.

Sealed proposals, clearly marked “North Road Bridge Proposal” on the outside of
the envelope, must be received by the City Clerk on or before the above deadline.
