Notice of Sale of Bay Chalet
“As is, where is”
The City of Thorne Bay is requesting bids for the removal of a multi-use community building, “the Bay Chalet.”. Dimensions of the one-story building are 30’ x 72’. There is a considerable amount of usable material in this old structure, including metal siding, roofing, windows, doors, etc. All furnishings such as chairs currently stored in the building will be removed and are not part of the sale. One wall containing a mural painting will be retained.
Minimum bid/offer – $7,500
Bids are due by 4 pm on July 14, 2020 at the City of Thorne Bay; envelope clearly marked “Building Contractor Services”.
Building must be completely removed from the site by August 30, 2020
