The City of Thorne Bay is requesting Proposals for construction of an option of two buildings.
- A two (2) bedroom, two (2) bathroom dormitory with communal kitchen and laundry facility for use as a quarantine location and dual use as emergency housing.
- A two (2) bedroom, two (2) bathroom dormitory with communal kitchen and laundry facility with additional space for a front foyer and storage to operate as a local medical clinic when not operating as a quarantine location.
Dimensions of the one-story building are to be determined by the bidders as appropriate to state code requirements.
This is a design & build project with a total construction project fiscal expenditure cap of $433,000 and a project funding completion timeline for capital expenditure of 12/31/2020.
