Emergency Services Department Meeting April 8th at 6:30pm

Thorne Bay is looking for bright and enthusiastic people to volunteer with Thorne Bay Emergency Services Squad & Fire Department.

The Thorne Bay Volunteer Emergency Services Department meets monthly in the Northside Fire Hall and we want you to join us!

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to care for others and play an integral role devoted to saving lives.

While on duty, your primary responsibility will always be to provide emergency care, however there is no reason why you can’t continue to go about your everyday activities and spend time with your family or work. Our only requirement is that you remain within the city limits and available to respond to a call immediately when needed. Hours are flexible so if your day job is not, we can work around that.

Contact Cindy Edenfield, Interim EMS Coordinator or Les Carter, EMS Captain, for Thorne Bay to find out more on what you can do to volunteer in your community and to play a part in saving a life.
