The City of Thorne Bay is now accepting applications for the position of Solid Waste Operator & Streets and Roads Assistant.
The Solid Waste Operator & Streets and Roads Assistant is a full-time position (40 hours/week split between Streets and Roads and Solid Waste) as that term is described in the Thorne Bay Municipal Code Chapter 2.24. The Solid Waste Operator & Streets and Roads Assistant shall be removed from city employment for just cause or if funding is not appropriated for the position. Position may require work on weekends and early morning or late nights.
Desirable / Required certifications: Alaska CDL (Commercial Drivers License), State of Alaska Hazardous Waste Site General Worker, Hazardous Materials Technician Certification
