The City of Thorne Bay, located on the east side of Prince of Wales Island,
approximately 42 air miles from Ketchikan, is requesting proposal for the
construction of a tributary fish passage gravel and culvert bridge on North Road as
engineered by the Southeast Alaska Watershed Coalition in February 2015.
The City of Thorne Bay is accepting applications for the position of Streets & Roads Supervisor + Vehicle & Light Equipment Mechanic. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week with benefits. Beginning salary is DOE.Â

Thorne Bay City staff was notified by Alaska Public Health on Thursday, November 12, 2020, of the SECOND confirmed COVID-19 case in Thorne Bay. Public Health and the Alaska Division of Epidemiology are currently conducting a case investigation.
