RFP-BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION

The City of Thorne Bay, located on the east side of Prince of Wales Island,
approximately 42 air miles from Ketchikan, is requesting proposal for the
construction of a tributary fish passage gravel and culvert bridge on North Road as
engineered by the Southeast Alaska Watershed Coalition in February 2015.

JOB OPENING-STREETS & ROADS

The City of Thorne Bay is accepting applications for the position of Streets & Roads Supervisor + Vehicle & Light Equipment Mechanic.  This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week with benefits.  Beginning salary is DOE. 

POSITIVE COVID-19 CASE IN THORNE BAY

Thorne Bay City staff was notified by Alaska Public Health on Thursday, November 12, 2020, of the SECOND confirmed COVID-19 case in Thorne Bay. Public Health and the Alaska Division of Epidemiology are currently conducting a case investigation.
