An ordinance is a law enacted by a local government. It establishes the rules for the operation of the local government or provides rules and regulations governing public activity in the community. Some ordinances are intended to be permanent and are assembled in an indexed book called a “code of ordinances” or a “municipal code”. Other ordinances may be temporary in nature, and therefore do not need to be codified.
The preliminary results of the October 4th, 2022, Regular Municipal Election are here. Join us on Friday at 5pm to count the remaining 29 absentee ballots. Certification will be held on Monday at 6:30pm.

The City Council will host a Special Workshop preceding the meeting at 6:00 p.m. for the purposes of discussing funding options for the Fire and EMS Department. The Public is ENCOURAGED and welcome to attend all public meetings of the City Council.
