2-NEWLY CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASES IN THORNE BAY

Thorne Bay City staff was notified by Alaska Public Health on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, of the FIFTH confirmed COVID-19 case in Thorne Bay. Three of the confirmed cases are recovered and there is currently TWO ACTIVE cases in Thorne Bay at this time.
Public health and the division of epidemiology are currently conducting a case investigation to determine how the patients were exposed and the potential scope of contacts. Additional information will be released as it is available.

POSITIVE COVID-19 CASE IN THORNE BAY

Thorne Bay City staff was notified by Alaska Public Health on Thursday, November 12, 2020, of the SECOND confirmed COVID-19 case in Thorne Bay. Public Health and the Alaska Division of Epidemiology are currently conducting a case investigation.
