The City of Thorne Bay is requesting qualifications from interested firms to provide professional Architectural and Engineering Services for the design and engineering of the new Davidson Landing Fire / EMS Hall Project. The project will be located in Thorne Bay, Alaska and is funded through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the State of Alaska Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development Division of Community and Regional Affairs. The new facility will provide a base for Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for Southside Thorne Bay. The project will be sited on a portion of Tract A, ASLS 80-121. This site is owned by the City of Thorne Bay.
The City Council will host a Special Workshop preceding the meeting at 6:00 p.m. for the purposes of discussing funding options for the Fire and EMS Department. The Public is ENCOURAGED and welcome to attend all public meetings of the City Council.
