THIS IS TO NOTIFY ANY INTERESTED PERSONS that on FRIDAY, the 6th day of November 2020, at 5:00 p.m., the Thorne Bay City Council will hold a Special Meeting to canvass all absentee, questioned and defective ballots received in the election. If the council is unable to obtain a quorum, or complete the count on Friday, after the election, the canvass will be continued the following day and each day thereafter until complete.
On Friday October 30th, the Inter-Island Ferry Authority (IFA) will resume operations with the M/V Stikine. We will return to our six day a week schedule, 100 passenger capacity. Please see the website for details and/or reservations. The IFA would like to acknowledge our appreciation for the AMHS and the crew of the Lituya for providing service to our communities while we completed this overhaul.
